Education & Public Outreach
The Hemphill County Underground Water Conservation District conducts events aimed at conservation, awareness, protection, preservation, prevention of waste and over-usage of groundwater. The District makes available educational literature at the district office, local school campuses, regional conferences, and on local news media.
Hemphill UWCD works with our local 4-H group, Hemphill County 4-H, to sponsor two water ambassadors from Hemphill County. Follow this link https://www.texas4hwaterambassadors.com/application to apply.
